Be sure to allow plenty of time to explore Fox Glacier and take in all the things the area has to offer. Experience a scenic flight over the glacier and up to the Main Divide, around Aoraki Mt Cook Try a half day glacier walk or even some ice climbing. Gillespies beach is also an amazing destination. This rugged west coast beach is steeped in history, and there is also a seal colony to explore. You might like to try sky diving or even a heli hike. There are a range of walks, from world famous Lake Matheson with its stunning mirror reflections, to rainforest walks and even a glow worm walk after dark.
