Where to Dine & Shop

Where to Dine & Shop

Life on the West Coast of the South Island is relaxed. The strong community spirit here has its origins in the area’s pioneering history. This heritage has developed into the legendary West Coast tradition of hospitality and Glacier Country is certainly a great place to experience this first hand.

Here you will find details of restaurants, cafes and shops in Glacier Country New Zealand. Visitors can choose from a selection of dining options from Paringa to Franz Josef Glacier and Fox Glacier.

Glacier Country is also a great place to shop.  Our retailers offer a wonderful selection of gifts, artwork and merchandise and more. It won’t be hard  to find a special Glacier Country souvenir to take home.

Not to forget the basics, you can also find out here where to get necessities for people and vehicles, such as groceries and petrol.
