About Glacier Country Tourism Group
Glacier Country Tourism Group Inc.
Welcome to the home web page of the Glacier Country Tourism Group Inc. We are a group of proud West Coasters operating over 75 businesses who love living here and welcoming you to this special part of New Zealand. We are responsible for the destinational marketing, incorporating the business from Paringa in the south to Mount Hercules in the north. This incoporates Fox Glacier, Franz Josef Glacier, Okaraito and Whataroa.
This website is administered by the Glacier Country Tourism Group Inc. and is intended to provide information on a selection of activities and attractions, as well as accommodation options available to visitors to the South Westland area.
Our group produce an information rich map (you will be able to download a pdf. soon from this web page) and a regional information brochure. If you are an agent, I-site or wholesaler and would like some coppies drop us a line via the form below.
While the Westland District Council provides staff and administration support for the group all of our marketing funds come from voluntary membership from local businesses.
Glacier Country is not an agency for making bookings or reservations & we are not an employment agency.
